Roanoke Area Youth Substance Abuse Coalition (RAYSAC) is a substance abuse coalition focused on youth in the Blue Ridge region of Virginia. RAYSAC promotes a safe and drug-free community in which all youth are valued and supported in living a drug-free lifestyle.
We’ve worked with RAYSAC over the years to provide social media training and marketing strategy, as well as website implementation.
Our first step was to meet with the RAYSAC Director to discuss the current skills of the coalition in regard to marketing, with a particular emphasis on social media. From there, we did a full audit of their social media. We spent time reviewing current social media accounts and the analytics and insights surrounding them. We developed a plan to increase engagement and presented this plan to the coalition so they could have awareness on how to use social media to support not only RAYSAC, but their respective organizations.
We’ve worked with RAYSAC to provide marketing strategy and guidance, along with designing educational materials and infographics for the organization.
In 2016, we worked with RAYSAC to overhaul their existing website in WordPress which had become outdated, both visually and technically.
RAYSAC is a nonprofit coalition with a small staff that relies heavily on coalition members and volunteers to help serve their community. This is a remarkably active group of individuals who are able to make magic happen with some marketing support.
